As Sales Operations Manager at Motrec International, you will be at the heart of our success. Based in Sherbrooke, the Sales Operations Manager will play a role in supporting vehicle sales objectives, as well as developing customer relations with our dealers (B2B). Acting as the point of contact between Sales, Engineering and Operations, the Sales Operations Manager will ensure inter-departmental cohesion.

Key responsibilities

1. Customer Relations :
– Communicate regularly and establish working relationships with customers via phone and email.
– Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by responding promptly to customer communications.
– Process telephone and e-mail orders and verify orders to ensure correct pricing, discounts, etc. Enter customer orders and ensure they are processed in accordance with customer requirements, accuracy and on-time delivery.
– Handle urgent calls, emails and messages when Regional Sales Managers are unavailable, answer customer queries, inform them of delays, arrange delivery dates.

2. Internal collaboration:
– Collaborate with sales staff to create and maintain sales reports.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sales, marketing, queries and deliveries are handled efficiently.
– Support to Sales and Business Development Manager and Regional Sales Managers.

3. Management and organization:
– Maintain organized sales records and report month-end target setting to management team.
– Develop and maintain filing systems to maintain sales records, prepare reports and provide financial information to senior management.
– Manage budgets for expenses such as bonuses, marketing and travel.

Skills and competencies required

– Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
– 2 or more years’ experience in sales and/or customer service
– Experience as a sales coordinator (an asset)
– Knowledge of MS Office suite
– Leadership skills
– Excellent communication, sales and customer service skills
– Flexibility and adaptability
– Highly results-oriented attitude
– Good administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills.
